thanks for the replys lads,i,ve managed to get it off without taking the sump off.the two studs that go through the front of the sump screwout,well they did on mine:eek:.oh well its off now cheers

hiya,im in the process of changing my camshaft,but i,ve hit a stumbling block.do i have to remove the sump in order to take the timing cover off.haynes says remove 2 front sump nuts and loosen another 2 each side?the fooker wont budge.do the 2 front studs come out?cheers
