Has any one ever tried or come across a twin wheel conversion kit. Not only for the aesthetics but incase of flats whilst on adventures. Didn't know weather an offset rim or some sort of spacer could do the trick ?

Low mileage is a great reason for purchase - the main reason why I bought my 1991 defender was the 26000 (checked) on the clock :D

Before now I have used fibre glass to " get by " on chassis / inner wings and bulkheads obviously it has no structural rigidity but if it's just holes and you're limited on time ......

The only wining I normally get when freewheeling is the missus :) come to think of it I get it under acceleration aswell !

Fabricated some speaker mounts and fixed into space behind seatbelt! Damn good !

Fuel and air filters are the easiest to check first , more than likely that the fuel is only letting just enough thru to keep it running ...

Used to run these on my sj , priceless once you've pushed the limit on fully inflated tyres :D

Think I'll have to rip it out today and check then - didn't know weather it was landrover specific as it lives up the control panel for the back - lights , sockets , heaters ECt .

If I turn the hazard lights on it automatically turns the ignition on !!! This can be a standard fitment can it. I haste to add I found this out when the keys were in the kitchen!
