Yes that is what I did. Mine now works so the switch itself illuminates when any lights are on like all other switches ( I think that was the red/orange wire ) and then when full beam is on, the relay activates to light the driving lights and a small red light comes on the switch itself too.

Thanks for replies, looking a bit further it seems that one of the previous owners had a "smartnav by Trafficmaster" system installed. This appears to be the remains of it there's also a small push button elsewhere. Just have to work out how to remove it now! Cheers
