My 1995 es model had the same problems rev counter fluctuating and with the ABS not working know and then,with the rec counter measure the output of the alternator then slip the belt off and spin the alternator if its noisy the bearings are on the way out which caused my rev counter to play...

Don't know if anyone else has had this happen? if so how did they fix it ,my1995 disco 300tdi the rear electric windows don't allways work sometimeit takes 10 - 15 miles off pressing the buttons before they work:confused: other times they work straight away:rolleyes:

Hi Craig I've just changed my springs and shocks to h/duty version on my 1995 disco and put 245/75/16 cooper stt they fitted without any body mods, only mod was to adjust steering stops to stop them rubbing on full lock.Great tyres for off road

The alloys are of a Es fitted with 235/70/16 but someone said that 245/75/16 would fit? then if so I could fit BF Goodridge mt or Cooper stt ? does anyone know if this is correct as I don't want to muck up the gear ratio to much.
