My Td5 does it sometimes but if i turn it off and start it again it usually goes off sometimes i have to do it a few times though

I had to change mine recently and the plastic fitting did break but i got a new one only a couple of quid which happend to break while fitting the glass to it so i just left it as the glass seemed secure

Thats how i usually do it but without wearing the oil but one time i added the slick 50 and just left the engine running for 30 mins. Next morning went out in it and the increase in power was realy surprising

Waxoyled mine 2 weeks ago ready for winter so i can sleep at night knowing i wont need to do any welding. I have used Slick 50 in my cars for years and found it brill, it does what it says on the box. Did you put it in and drive or did you leave your engin running for a while.

I use slick 50 on all my vehicles i normaly do the oil change add the slick 50 and drive around for a while unfortunatly you don't notice the difference as much as when you add the slick 50 leave it ticking over for 30 mins then take it for a drive. I have never had a problem with it at all...

Iv'e had same problem on previouse cars and after freeing the piston and giving it a good clean worked perfect. Problem with scrapyards you may end up buying one with same or simular problem especially if its been standing for a long time. I would personally fix it.

Thanks for that have just been looking at the alternator found the fat one constant live and i can see 2 small ones 1 white and 1 brown i presume it will be the brown one i want but the problem i have now is getting to it there is loads of things in the way. Could you confirm if it is the brown...
