O.K my Td5 is auto and does no more than 16 mpg around town on a run i get just over 30 mpg. At first i thought there was something wrong with mine untill i went for a long run so i think yours is probebly about right.

could i suggest enquireing at landrover main dealer becouse they fitted me a new dash due to it being a landrover fault and they even give me a courtesy car. BEFORE YOU ALL START SHOUTING.. it was a good few years ago on a second well fourth hand car i went to get a part for it and enquired...

De-cat exhaust, replace middle exhaust silencer with a through pipe might help and it will sound better toooo

Hi did mine 2 weeks ago you will have to remove the front cross member my bolts were seized on so i had to cut them off and while i was at it i fitted a stainless middle through pipe sounds more meaty now...Hope this helps....Tony

My 2004 Td5 had normal bulbs in it and when i bought it the spare bulb was normal I have since changed the bulbs for them whiter blue ones which are supposed to give the Hid look they are brighter or whiter...Tony

If its the same as the 300, the drum your looking for is behind the geer box follow the prop shaft towards the back, you can't miss it. I had the same problem on my 300 and when i took the drum off the shoes were all wet and a bit oily so i cleaned them with boiling water and they were...

Erm i think i get the jist of it now. I fitted my blanking plate at the exhaust manifold and i have blocked the 2 pipes by sealing the bit of metal pipes on the 2 valves and then re-fitted the pipes just not sure if i need to clean out the intercooler...Tony

So in theory if you were to just block the valve pipe or in my case pipes that would stop the valve from operating, if that is the case you would not need a blanking plate as it would have the same effect...maybee..possibly F**k i'm more confused now i think

Today i decided to block both the pipes I have pulled the pipes of the EGR and ILT valves screwed a small self tapper screw in each metal pipe on the valves then pushed the pipes back on i have also fitted a stainless steel de-cat pipe and a stainless steel through pipe to replace the center...

Hi i recently fitted a egr blanking plate on my 04 Td5 but i was not aware that i was supposed to block the vacuume pipe. I have found i have 2 blue pipes. 1 from the egr valve to the egr valve modulater and the other from the ILT valve to the ILT valve modulator. Could someone please let me...

Hi just to let you know i received the cobalt drill bits tried them on some of the snaped bolts and they drilled right through them, So they should work for you...Tony
