Its was the fuel pump in the tank breaking down. But a landie specialist B4 i found pump ,said it could be cam timing. Also while searching for problem i found injector harness chafing on rocker box. New pump £240 incl from main dealer 3/4 hr to fit. Mark

may take it to DLS i just wanted to try and sort it my self. I did drain some coolant out to add anti freeze, but that was a few mths back, but will check

Changed injector harness checked main harness for chaffing. seems ok Checked red ECU plug for oil nice and clean. All filtres are changed every 5000 miles. Can i try anything else or do i need to get a diagnostic done. Mark

The plastic pipe that comes from bottem of expansion tank to EGR cooler. mine just shatterd today like droping glass on floor. have replaced with temporay clear plastic, which is fine but i canot see any water flow in it. Could i have air lock. Anyone help. Mark P.S its a 52 plate Disco

What tyres would you fit I have Michelins syncrons on now done about 50,000 they have been very good for me on and off road even with trailer on. Is there anything better that will do moore miles, some say BFG are v good. They all seem to be within £20 of each other. Thanks Mark

Bought a 200 tdi in good runing order, took engine out and dry stored for about 12 mths. just put in new motor, but it wont start no fuel at injectors. Plenty of fuel geting to pump, the solinoid is working fine took it out to be double sure. i think some thing may have got stuck or gumed up...

its in complete wit P/S and turbo now thats was a bitch,just no room to fit intercooler
