Not an easy job. You may find, as I did, that the side rivets to the tub are actually not holding on to anything. The lip the floor rests on may have corroded away. In this case get an angle grinder and cut the whole lot out! Fit new alloy angle channel support and put new floor back in. I...

Fitted new bulbs at the weekend and at last I can see the speedo waving about :D:D The difficult bulb was the backlight it was a bas**d to get in and out for some reason. Thanks for everyone's help.

Hi All, Can anyone tell me which bulbs I need for the speedo backlight and main beam indicator light on my speedo?

The advice I had from the forum was to buy a steering wheel glove. Stops the black stuff coming offand certainly less suspect than the paint route.

My mate has an ex military. When we took the boss off to get at the nut inside the boss was written "f**k off you nosey C**t". Laugh a minute those army lads.

Series 3 got a few holes in the tub floor and I want to replace it. Am I correct in thinking I can just unbolt the floor without removing the side seats and just bolt a new one straight back in? Or is that too simple. :confused:
