I don't think that any of them are very good starters when there warm. But if it's poor cold starting then I'd start with your glow plugs.

I've used a hot air paint stripper on my girlfriends Gaylander and they looked pretty good when I'd finished. That was a couple of months ago and they still look good. But a word of warning it only works on some plastics so make sure you do a test somewhere out of sight!

I sold mine a while back :-( A shame but it was not road worthy and or though it was fan-bloody-tastic off road I didn't own a transporter trailer plus no time no money that post of thing... Be sure to keep us posted about your new toy!

Well I'm no expert but if you can make a tall car lower when traveling at speed it's going to be safer and more stable.... That's how it was built. Springs can't do that.

Welcome to the brotherhood. Button on the dash? As far as I can remember there's nothing on the dash to do with gears... Low range is selected by moving the gear lever to the left (you must keep your foot on the brake) Mine drips water in the same place ;-)

I notice that it's been re-listed on Ebay! So there's still a chance to grab yourself a bit of a one off machine!

I feel that the guys running LPG wont have an advantage for much longer if the speed that domestic LPG prices have been shooting up. Sadly I don't think it'll be to long before those that are in power start to pile on the tax. Oh and by the way if it's speed you need you'd never choose a Range...
