    Biodiesel

They certainly do. There are no filling stations near me that actually sell bio. You may need to change your fuel filter after running bio for a while.

    have done something stupid

Seems pretty random to me. I hear they stopped FBH in 2002 but then mines 2004. I'd prefer PTC to FBH

removing the inside of freelanders cat?

37 is most and 25 least (going steady) 30 is usual on a mix of town and other.

Help me fix up my freelander!

You are very selective with the truth and rude when you don't like it. As I said , bye bye and happy motoring

    Are britparts that bad ?

I often use that answer to most things in life ;)

I put the wrong fuel in my TD4

A £1000 sounds about right anywhere you go. I agree, another engine for sure.

Help me fix up my freelander!

 You're right of course. I make things up just to upset you. Bye bye and happy motoring

    Are britparts that bad ?

Would "all makes" include britparts, as they sell them on their website ;)

Help me fix up my freelander!

Seriously ???? You're talking a £1000+ for this alone and you'd have to be more than a bit " handy with tools".

    Are britparts that bad ?

Ha ha. DLS have a banner advert for britpart  and where do DLS get their parts from ?

Help me fix up my freelander!

You have asked whether this is worth fixing but have already made that decision by fixing certain things  My concern would be knackered gearbox, dodgy clutch, dropped liner, dodgy water pump and thermostat, possible VCU problem, new head gasket on 40,000 mile replacement engine, failed...

Krisboats. I think the garage you mention in your first post has answered ALL your questions, " don't throw any more money at this", especially as you don't intend to keep it.

    Are britparts that bad ?

Therein lies the rub. Being new to LR I decided that LR specialists are probably best to use. Of the two I have tried they both use britparts. I generally use the goldylocks philosphy, if there are 3 parts the same at £10, £20 and £30, I'll go for the £20.

    Are britparts that bad ?

Blimey, that's some thread. Strangely the local landrover garage fitted britparts to mine. For years it has always been the general view that OEM parts are over priced, hence people buy pattern or other. How is any one to know where OEM's or pattern are made, chances are China these days. As...

    Are britparts that bad ?

Someone on another thread suggested that it's common knowledge on here that you should avoid britparts spares like buying a 1.8 FL. So.....are britparts that bad ???

I put the wrong fuel in my TD4

In your situation the tank and fuel system should have been drained. Given that you drove for 7 miles on virtually pure petrol will have confused the sensors and therein the ECU no end. Get it plugged into a DX and that may give you a better idea.

    Header tank blew up!

Clearly. This is the first time I have come across it on the forum. So what's the SP ?

Is there an issue with parts from britpart ?
