It's a 52 plate Td5 but it has had an engine change.

All it seems to do is light up a red warning lamp in the bottom left of the dash. Looks like it has been retro fitted!

Many thanks Ratty. I've had a quick look in the dark and can see a siren unit and a siren but nothing else. There are two wires with plugs on at the bottom though so looks like a good place to start.

there is a black rocker switch on the righthand underside of the dash clocks. The wire seems to go into a small loom and back to the clocks. I can't see it affecting anything when used.

The factory fitted alarm isn't working but the immobiliser is. The indicators don't flash when arming and according to the hand book this is because a door is open. They are all closed :( How can I fix this. What model of alarm was fitted to a 2002 Td5 Defender?

I was recommended a Disklok before my 110 was nicked. I wish I'd taken the advice :( I have one now and a factory fitted alarm. A medium fits if you take the extra padding out.

I've had my 52 plate 110 for a week now and it's had 2 flat batteries. First was registering 0v. Now it has 11.25v and when my missus open the door there was a clicking sound from behind the dash clocks. The central locking fob arms the immobiliser but since we've had it it has never flashed...

I can pick it up and store it for you but I'm not going anywhere near Scotland anytime soon.
