I think it was a loose digital aerial connection. Took the radio out and is much better now it's back in. Needs a better aerial though but I can't find a gutter mount dab aerial, they all seem to be pesky mag mounts :(

Don't know how but I think a loose dab aerial connection was interfering. Not coming on at the moment.

It does come on with the ignition do I'll check for the switch under the horror and replace. Cheers.

When I bought the radio from Halfords the only option for a roof aerial was a mag mount. How does yours mount - on the gutter?

Oh, and where's the best place to put the aerial. I didn't want it on the windscreen as it's a sticky glass mount one. Ta.

How's the reception in a Defender. I have an 04 XS 90 and last Feb I put a Sonichi SB50X Halfords DAB radio in it. I put the aerial on the rear nearside window and the reception keeps dropping out. Now I've noticed the wipers are knocking out the reception but the signal meter isn't changing...

Not condensation as the lenses are dry. Looks like white smoked glass and gives of a dimmer light when driving at night.

I've searched but can't find anything on cloudy headlights. Are they cleanable and if so - how? It's an 04 90 and the lenses look glass and clouded from the inside. Are the lenses removable or sealed units? TIA Stu

Cheers, it was a blocked pipe. The washer bottle cap had disintegrated and the pipe was full on little bits of blue plastic especially in the connector where the tube comes into the engine bay. Quick blow through with some spray duster and they are working like new again.
