clear silicon around plastic trim around sunroof shud do it .just done mine and seems to av worked (famous last words)

A mechanic i now uses parrafin on stuck nuts etc.dont no if that would be of use.

Cheers for the imput ,are they big jobs to do,ie expensive.would that mean a new clutch.the ley shaft i no nothing about.

Yes im normaly in fourth changing to 5th when noise ocours seems louder in 5th is this normal on discos ? have you had yours checked .ive done the oils on transfer and gearbox and axles so i now thers oil in .Its in garage wednesday so im trying to arm myself with a bit of knowlege.:confused:

Hi all ,on my 300tdi im getting a whinning noise sounds like a failing bearing when the speed hits 50mph it is more noticable but when i take my foot of the gas it stops .ive discounted wheel bearing as this would be constant noise ,diff or transfer box ???? any help would be appriciated.
