From what I can gather the wiring should be there on later models but you will need the mirrors and switchgear. Not sure on a car your age though. I would check the wiring if I were you to see if you have space for extra connections.

Well it looks like the inectors are to blame so have asked Land Rover to have a look at it. It is booked in for Wednesday so I will keep you posted. The guy at LR said that he has had a few in with similar problems and it was one of the injectors leaking or timing.
