    ...on a long journey do you pack a suspension bag and toolbag along with the kids ?? once you get used to the rr,s little ways,you will learn to leave the kids at home so you have more room for tools and also have the added bonus of being able to work at the side of the road in peace:D:D:D

    many thanks for replies.i know the o rings need to be done,but this is nothing to do with bad running.does anyone think the problem could lie with the waterpump causing coolant loss and very slight pressure build up in header tank.top hose is mildly hard when warm,but can be compressed...

    hi rewmer,yes i do have a very very small amount of coolant on the drivers side of the centre tunnell and header tank has slight pressure when cold (usally check coolant each morning)coolant in footwell is not there on a daily basis but every now and then

    hi fanatic,new plugs and new leads fitted when i did head gasket,has been running 100% until now,suspicion is water pump but looling to see if it could be anything else.forgot to mention heads were skimmed when gaskets done.

    :eek:help needed pls.p38 4.0 1997.head gaskets done 5 months (8000 miles) ago.new cam shaft sensor new plugs new leads and new crankshaft sensor fitted at same time.for the last month has been using an egg cupfull of coolant every couple of days,so never investigated as i could live with that...
