HI there What type of gaylander sorry freelander are you looking at don't go anywhere close to an old petrol 1.8 it'll just needs a head gasket before you get 2 miles down the road. From what I know of the TD4's are ok but it's still a freelander, but each to there own.

My Disco has done this on and off for 2 1/2 years now. It's the same beep as if you leave your lights on with out the ignition being on. Never been a problem just put it down to one of the Disco qurks.

:5biagree: What he say's done my EGR and down pipe both from Gary @ TD5 Alive and got him to remap it as well if there's any fault on the system he'll find them first and clear them before he does the remap. A remap will make a world of difference but it really needs to have the EGR blanked first.
