Don't want to step on Shiftys toes but this is a no brainer. YES blank the EGR (really you should have done it before it was re mapped) if you want more out of it De cat the exhaust as well. And as has been discussed remove the cooler and reroute the cooling pipes.

For anyone get a remap I would recomend get the EGR bypass kit and fit a De-cat pipe before getting the remap, this way the map will take into account the extra clean air and and faster pick up speed of the Turbo.

Shaun, Have you had any problems with running a TD5 on veg oil or had to do anything like heating the fuel before it get's to the engine. I heard that the TD5 engine wouldn't run on veg oil because of the viscousity being higher.

Matt, if like your inde say's and it is the exhaust manifold take it off and get it skimmed and put it back on. This problem is quite common on TD5's that have been chipped as the exhaust gases can be hotter especially when towing and warp the manifold, I heard some saying that the manifold...

Have a look at the track rod ends if one of them is on it's way out it could cause viberation at speed.

The TD5 engine only has 4 glow plugs could be that one or all of them have broken.

You must have been on the noisey pedal all the time. I got 550 miles going to Billing and back sitting around 70 just about all the way and the orange light hadn't come on, only filled up cause the fuel was a good price.
