Went by the tyre fitting guide. Camel cut to stop the tyre rubbing the rear arch. End caps trimmed to stop them rubbing the bottom of the caps. Valance off as it looks better. Steering stops as the tyres were rubbing the radius arms. Bump stops because I don't want the tyres hitting the...

Tyres fitted yesterday, steering stops done today - another easy job :) Extended bump stops half made.. using trips of an old tyre and vulcanised rubber block to make them... hope they work!

Taday on my Disco 300TDi I sorted the exhaust mount, done the bump stops and half made some extended bump stops. Other day I camel cut, trimmed end caps, removed the valance and had some 235/85/16's fitted

Tried 75/25% SVO/Diesel and now trying 90/10% mix SVO/Petrol in my Disco 300TDi and workes fine other than starting up taking a bit longer... I don't mind that when I'm saving £££ though! Installing an electric in-line heater just before the filter soon and or maye an electric heated fuel...

I have a new handle at long last... Any idea how to replace the lock barrel with my original one? EDIT: Don't worry, figured it out!

I have a Disco 300TDi running nicely on svo. I'm looking at putting an electric (dual spark plug) fuel heater in for when it's really cold and to ease starting. I was wondering if my mate would be able to run his TD5 110 on svo with one of these heaters installed? Any ideas? EDIT: ok having...

Well that was painless (other than a bruised knuckle!). Valance off, end caps trimmed, rear arches camel cut... bump stops being made, tyres to be fitted followed by steering stops adjusted... easy job really :)

OK, I have no rear bump stops (much like you Foz) as it seems the rubbers have fallen off. Gonna buy an extended bumpstop and use it to make a mold/copy and cast some of my own in polyurethane. Will save about £45 if all goes well. Front valance is coming off and will trim the end caps this...

Did you have to do the bump stops?

I'll have a gander at that ta. £11!? not fair, cant seem to find one less than £17 posted :( Taking the door apart is no prob as I've done it a silly amount of times sorting out the window. Never even looked at the lock/handle though so that's all new to me.
