Pulling right when giving gas left when...

Ushuaia is like the end of the world... I think getting them mailed would take forever. I'm hoping for a distributor in Buenos Aires that might have them in stock, that should be quicker. Getting them made is only a last resort better than waiting a month for them to be shipped in.

    Help Removing Front Propshaft

Hey all, I've got a buggered UJ on the transfer case side of the front prop. After cleaning the mud off it looks as though its not a metric nut, 14mm is a tad too small and 15mm a tad too big (besides the fact that there doesnt seem to be enough room for it to fit, and it looks as though the...

    Side air intake cover

Just a quick question... I "lost" my side air intake cover on the wing... i've MacGyvered a cover with slots out of a piece of plastic but I'm wondering how important this bit is? I mean with respect to water, dirt and such...I mean it does draw air in so when it rained heavily I'm sure bit of...

    Drop arm ball joint

Got it sorted thanks for all the help! I ended up using easy outs in the nipple hole and banging it sideways with a hammer..and plop it all came tumbling out... The circlip was a pita without the proper pliers!

    Drop arm ball joint

That is dirt I belive in the photo, the circlip broke as I took it out and I spent time making sure nothing was still in the channel. I will give it a try with screwing a screen in and seeing if I can pull it out that way.

    Drop arm ball joint

Circlip is out, but the bottom plate won't budge. Hammered on it, Wd40, hammered some more, used the jack to push from the bottom, hammered some more. Lowered the jack and hammered some more still the plate won't come off. Any ideas on how to remove the stuck plate? I don't have any specialist...

    Drop arm ball joint

Hi again, It looks like we are having a string of bad luck... just after the camshaft pully retainingbolt incident we have some play in drop arm ball joint (and torn gaiter) and I have a rebuild kit with and read how it can be changed in situ. So I went about removing the securing bolt and torn...

    Timing belt broken, I think...

Thanks Steve, am also pretty chuft! We still have a bit more to see of Costa Rica then we will continue our adventure southward hopefully all the way to Patagonia! If I have done everything correctly then I don't anticipate having to take the timing cover off for at least 100 kms!
