What about JCB yellow?

Aged 17, bought a 109 ex MOD, £500!. My first thoughts when driving it home (in the rain) "why is it wet inside as well as out?"

Oh well then, perhaps I'd better go and get either some blue or green tomorrow! But it won't be staying council yellow anyway.

Think I may have under estimated how yellow this is going to be!

Rebuilt my seat box and primed it ready for painting. Removed A frame Ball joint, what a B******* of a job.

Continued with rebuild of me 90. Tried cleaning up rear axel, found a trailing arm mount partly corroded, scratching head over repair.

I got the 90 (more off the road than on so far) and the RRSport.

Well after a lot of deliberation I've decided to paint it. Thanks for all your posts and the info provided, I'll post some pics soon.

Having thought about it today, I think I've decided to not paint it.

I prefer the black painted look but don't want it flaking off in 12 months or so! also would you wax oil the inside? I'm not rebuilding it for the looks. Thanks.

I've just received my new Richards Chassis for my 90 rebuild, I've looked through the existing threads but was just wandering what the general view is - Paint it or not?

Piece of cake, made a frame to fit across the arches in the back, leg in middle for support, bolted down through tub with big spreader plates underneath, stronger than the front now! Seats off the bay - Cost me about £80.00 for 3.

Mini bus seats(built in seat belts).
