    Greetings from sunny Lincoln...

If I was that thin skinned I would have run away screaming before ten posts.

I'm sure it has lots of members and they're all made to feel very welcome. Well I'm trying to type on my phone whilst being bombarded by advertising spam from this site. Just because it's paid for doesn't stop it from being spam. I'll sponsor the forum and try to sell stuff. If you don't want...

It's OK to write a PM telling me to F... Off but I can be banned for mentioning it?

    Greetings from sunny Lincoln...

Not likely though is it? I'm developing stuff that purists hate. Even got a PM last night telling me to f"#@ off. I'm sure that if Afzal Khan came on here you'd club him to death before he got to 10 posts, but the reality of it is that the market is all heading that way. Maybe the forum...

I won't be selling them direct. I have a couple of distributors looking to take them on along with some other bits. I'm just trying to develop this tat...

Hey I got a trophy last night from LZ for 'not running away screaming' after 10 posts.

Used to bale about 10000 a year, of which 5000 were wrapped. That used to make me enough profit to... ... pay for the baler and the wrapper.

Project for a rainy day maybe.

I suppose the issue would be how to make a modern dash work in a Series 3. You'd have to create something that is functional for today but looks like it belongs in the 70s or it will look terrible.

Had a couple of 3095s and then a 3655 when I packed it up. Missed farming for a few years but you couldn't drag me back now.

Used to run Masseys myself. Going back ten years though.

Yes, plus I put two more vents lower down for better air circulation. I'm playing about with ideas on the flaps. I started out thinking that it would be best to seal them like the Puma. However, I think it might work better to stick some electric actuators on the flaps, opened by a dashboard...

I'm not holding my breath don't worry about that. Curious to know why you're negative towards the new style dashboard though. I mean the one I made is exactly the same as the tdci but it's made to fit straight into the older models, so is it just the newer dash that you don't like? It's...

Thanks, I'll look out for your PM in the morning. ;) Give it time... I'll do one for you in John Deere colours with the grab handle wrapped in Siloflex...

LT77, but I had to bend the stick to get it to clear the Puma dash. Suppose I'm going to get grief now for bending a gearstick?

It's a 200tdi out of a discovery. Started out as a petrol with the Police, but was converted about 3 years ago using Disco axles as well. It came as a bit of an off-road toy but it had all the essential bits that I was looking for as a project.

So we just have to 'appear to be trying', nothing more? ;) Fair enough... I'll admit that it looks very much like I appear to be trying. Can't really win that one. :D

    Greetings from sunny Lincoln...

Well, like I said at the beginning, it started out as an exercise in design for me and was never meant to be a business. Just wanted to share the journey. I loved building the 90 to my own personal spec and I enjoyed creating parts and panels from scratch that were not available to buy. The...
