Mine was a nightmare ,located second hand one, then found my one was not faulty at all ..Breakers want strong money for them although usually they get crushed with the motor

VOSA blokes do nothing ..I questioned an MOT once and had it re moted by them ..The list was as long as your arm a total bodge job ..What it failed on first time was put on as advisorys when it passed its retest what it failed on the second time..Was all the advisorys on the previous pass Did...

Thats one big F uppped welding job .The man wants a total ban on welding any motors..Is he running from a proper workshop or doing it on his drive ?..Whatever thats one terrible job

Just going through my ancient posts ..The problem was sorted when the steering box developed a leak.Stuck a second hand one on and it cured the over steer

Anyone run these tyres ? Never heard of them before, toying with the idea of sticking them on my battered Disco but only got the pair the other two have less aggressive tread and are a different size::decision:

Disconnected the potentiometer where it joins the pump ,plugged it back and its now driven 50 odd miles with no problems?? Connections were clean though ..(baffled)

As above anyone local to Essex who runs a 300TDI auto with fly by wire pump..Need to eliminate a throttle potentiomer fault..All I need to do is unplug your connecter under the bonnet and connect mine just to make sure mine is working correctly..Beer tokens offered

Well put a different potentiometer on it today its just the same ??? Any other suggestions? TIA
