Cheers all, fixed the rear door leak by adjusting the hinges and lock and removing the ladder which wasn't helping the seal. Service went well and I've replaced the broken dash bulbs so can see the climate control in the dark. Only job left now is the actuator which I'll be tackling myself...

Cheers dude, just ordered some bulbs for the climate control panel cos a couple are busted as well as an OEM service kit and oil etc as I don't know when the last service was carried out. The tailgate is next on the list as it's hopefully easy and free.

Thanks very much for the link, very helpful. As the seller has actually ordered an actuator prior to selling it (and is paying for it) I'm actually pleased it's not much more taxing. I may even pay a garage to change it as I hate doing anything on doors with all the trim and faff etc and...

Hi all, as of today I'm the proud owner of a D2 Landmark TD5. Been coveting a landy for years since I used to use defenders as a works van (ex overhead linesman). Anyway as with any second hand vehicle there's a few niggles I need to iron out. Main one is the rear N/S door lock won't unlock...
