It can withstand wind speeds of 70mph. Not that I'd like to be in it. As for low bridges and branches I'll try to avoid them .lol

Depends on how long you keep finger on the lock button.They go off after 30 seconds or so. Mainly for winter or dark days where it shows you where your going. I like it and use it often as my driveway doesn't have a light.
