Update on the tent. The better half and me went for a night away and it was the dogs bollocks. Standard roof bars held up with the 2 of us snug inside.

They are expensive but I was lucky cos I cashed in some free shares I was given so it didn't cost me anything. But the added bonus is you get to look down on the 'poor' campers:):):):):)

Takes about 30 minutes to lift and bolt onto the roof bars. Then remove the protective cover, grab the ladders and pull. Hey presto the tent is up.

I've bought a 2012, 2.2 diesel with manual 6 speed box with the colour being indus silver. Impressed with the automatic lights and wipers but i fear I may have bought one with a duff sat nav as it took me to my destination the way I normally go! Is it faulty? lol

Just found out that I have the rust gremlins on my chassis. The cost of putting on a galvanised chassis on doesn't seem to make financial sense on a 15 year old vehicle. Does anyone know of someone that makes bog standard steel ones which maybe cheaper? TIA
