OK my 90 TD5 has the ZF auto box and the XYZ is playing up. Is it possible to change it with the box and tunnel in place and without taking the exhaust off?

Hi, I can't comment on the TD5, I just got mine. But I did have this problem on a VW and it was the turbo itself sticking. Turbo was changed and all was good again.
