Buying our Freelander we knew the sunroof was cack plus it leaks a little so I was wondering how expensive the repair is? Or should I just seal the leak up and sack it off? Stefan.

Just mentioned North Wales since it's the first reasonable journey. It sat happily at 70mph, even though I didn't think it would. I did expect a little better, but hey. Sounds similar to everyone else's economy. I'm going to try 50-60mph on the way home and see what that does to the mpg as well...

As the title says. I have a 2000 XeDi and travelled to North Wales from West Sussex and managed 31 mpg at 70mph most of the way. How about you?

Can someone describe how to change the coolant on a 2000 L series Freelander XeDi. I don't know which one to buy either, recommendations are welcome?

I take it there must be other people who have changed the gearbox oil without the use of a pump (thing)?? What a f**king pain!! However nearly there on my full service. So far I've done oil change plus filter, air filter, pollen filter, timing belts and serpentine belt, Fuel filter, IRD oil...
