Ok thanks guys. I'm going to take a prybar to the A frame and the drive shafts when its next dry and light at the same time. Suppose I'll replace the worn bushing too. I'm reluctant to fiddle with the injection pump. Are the injectors a service item, or are they good for the life of the engine...

Thanks for the quick responses guys. Griff, thanks for the links. The only reason I discounted the UJs is that it doesnt rattle when driving or using the engine to brake. Just when changing gear. I'll have a gander at the UJs when opportunity presents itself though. I haven't had it long enough...

Just a quick few questions if I may (its an early 90's defender 90 na) First off, can anyone tell me the name or partnumber of the bushing in the photo (located as shown above rear wheel). Is it difficult to change? There is a very noticeable 'clonk' when changing gear under acceleration...
