hi ive got a 1995 discovery 300tdi,i am looking for a centre exhaust pipe,the type without the box in it ,

any fuel at injectors

i thought i did put it in right place,its a landrover discovery 1995 300tdi (red)

hi ive got a second hand hard plastic A bar to fit to my 300tdi..do i need to take the bumper off to get at any nuts ,to remove the old plastic bit the number plate screws to.cheers

hi my disco 300tdi has a missfire at 50-55mph its not major but if its something simple i will try and fix it.its had a fuel filter and injector cleaner about 3 months ago

ive found it:):) its a heater pipe thats split,just ordered them both off ebay

yer i can see the water pump has been off so p gasket could of been changed and water stain could be from an old leak.

hi ive got water going somewhere and i cant find where.i dont realy want to strip things if i dont need too,ive read posts about the p gasket ive looked at the block to check for water staining but it looks like the water pump has been off before,so the stains could be old.i cant see any leaks...

hi been having probs with the water in my disco 300tdi,1st prob i didnt think it had antifreeze so i drained it and filled it.2 weeks later it chucked out the water from expansion tank.i fitted a new cap and tried to bleed it.turns out the little pipes from bottom of expasion tank and thermostat...

up date,i think ive sorted it.the pipes from expansion tank to top of rad and thermostat houseing where blocked solid

ok cheers for that,ive bought a steel ruler.just hope i done need to skim it

how hard did you find it to take head off,also how can you be sure the head is ok without sending it away to be checked,just asking because mines coming off soon most prob.cheers

yer first line stuff is good,i bought some first line vw bushes and they had the gen vw part number stamped on them.also unipart stuff is good quality

so it might be best to fit the no hole gasket anyway

my gasket at the mo is a 3 hole,if i need the head skimmed will i need a thicker gasket.i am trying to get all the parts before i strip it down

not got one of them,maybe i should get on ebay for one

right that sounds the complicated part

whats the chances that will snap ,do i need the copper washers for the injector pipes or can i use the old ones.ive got a rocker gasket

i reckon i drain the oil before i take head off i could use that again as its only been in 4 weeks

i hope i dont have to skim the head,ive not cooked the engine and not done many miles since it chucked the water out the expansion tank.about £27 for head set so it should be a cheap fix.head dont look to hard to take off
