Had to be recovered by the AA! Very embarrassing as the motor was covered in mud! And the recovery driver was in a 60 plate truck!

It was after we came out of slindon. Not sure what exactly killed it but as we turned onto the A27 there was a loud pop and the oil pressure light came on. Didn't last 100 yds after that..... Seized solid :(

Mine has done in the bottom end so could make a gud one out of the two?

Anyone have a 300 tdi engine for sale? Mine seized at the weekend :(

Well when i lock mine, the light usually stays on bright for a few seconds then dimms off to nothing.....

Ok so heres a wierd one! After returning from work on friday, I got out of the car and noticed the interior light was glowing dimly after shutting the door.... And the red tell tale light was on for the heated rear screen! even though the ign key was in my hand! So i opened the door again...

Theres a thread on Landrover owners website that details how to fit a 200tdi safari snorkel to a 300tdi explaining that you need a 200tdi airbox and pipes, how much do you want for it to include postage to Brighton PLease????? J5

I've managed to locate a snorkel now however I do need a 200 tdi air box and pipework to make it fit my 300 tdi, would you have that?? J5

Yeah the air filter was wet when i removed it, i think the water got as far as the intercooler but no further as there wasnt any sign of water in the top intercooler hose when i removed it, that said, if its blocked the intercooler then it must have gone through the turbo :( will know more once...
