zap rover,thanks,i love my defender,the green lanes local to me in the lake district are very rocky,and i dont have any problems with my tyres,search stile end on youtube and look at that lane,if i can get up there today in ice and snow,you could drive anywere! :D good luck with choosing your...

check the radiator level,and the thermostat level top uo to the top,top the header tank to maximum,then run up with header tank cap off abnd heater on hot,see what its like then,might be worth checking the p gasket while your at it.

most jobs on a landy turn into a nightmare :D you think to yourself,it will only take me 10 mins,3 hours later your still at it! :eek:
