i dont totally understand how an engine conversion works but was landybuff talking about the engine compression ratio? i know someone who has put a ED33 (nissan 4 pot) into a landrover series, and they didnt get something right...(i think it was adapter plate for gear box, but correct me if this...

just while we're at it, in a series 3 single cab, would there be a different type of seatbelt in the middle to the others? mine has a random type of seatbelt in the middle and was just wondering if it was like this from orginal....also what sort of condition does the actual belt have to be in to...

it looks like they are sold in 'leaf measurements' if you know what i mean, eg. 'suits 9 leaf' or else to suit lwb/swb and/petrol/diesel.... so if you find what its compared to it might work..... is yours swb or lwb?? - have a look down the page in the link and check out what it might be...

ok thanks, will get one sometime... i have attached some photos of the headlights....one looks original - this is the LH passenger side one that wasn't working properly...the other one i'm presuming is off a mazda as it says "fit mazda again" on the back... i have never actually noticed anything...

ok, we do have a local guy that deals in old landrovers, but scince hes the only one doing it localy he can charge the earth for parts, i have found things to be cheaper off ebay, but lights will require a bit more postage so ill try him first!! will try and sort out my headlights problem on...
