hello, iv owned a 2001 now for 10ish months and so far so good!!! however my question is, because my range was 6 years old when i had here and yes she had FLRSH how can i check if shes had any or all the recalls needed??? And if not would any done now be carried out free of charge?

The x5 is a great car my bro has one(4.8) but lets face it no one realy thinks they are a 4x4 not even my brother...RR is the only wat to go,troubles and all..

One thats a cd NOT dvd...and must be 2007 or 2008 .they are copies on ebay but they work fine for £10-£15 plus pp.also make sure that they are for upto 2002 range rovers only(but i think after then was dvd)..

Hi Mark, this may not help but i picked up the cd (2007/8) on ebay few months ago .It is only a copy and cost £12 &pp but it will take the first 5 digitts of the post code ..as i say this may or may not be of help,they are still on ebay from about £10 now..

Hi, my range has FSH at LR up to when i got it back in nov 07. its a 2001 4.6 and the service book has 8 LR stamps. however when its next due i will take it to my local garage who i know very well,i know it breaks the LR history but they will charge me £180 for a full service.. big saving on...

yes most journeys are under 10 miles round trip. when i went to anglesey (125miles) there was nothing going down or comming back.. No oil mixed it at all just tiney water droplets ..not lossing any water check it most days ,it takes no water at all and have not topped up with all in last 6...

The garage by me (staffs) dose it for £180 ,thats everthing and spark plugs. tyres from £60 upwards pads from £20 upwards.. thats on my 4.6..

Doing a normal oil/water check today,i noticed that inside the oil cap there were very small drops of water(like perspiration). i have had this before when the day has been hot and once its wipped dry it stays that way for ages...The thing is ,there never is much when this happens and its not...

GrahamRRV8, you shoukd get a far range for 7k ish poss 2001 but with 60k or more on the clock(thats not a bad thing as you could buy one with 40k on thats been clocked) remember its cond thats inportant but has i said for 7k you may pick up a 2000-2001 vogue?

Hi rich, dont know if thats good for a DSE or not.. i have a 4.6 and going to anglesey(125MILES) I GOT 24.3MPG THE COMP READ 24.5...on the way back the comp read 24.7 and on fill up to the very top it worked out at 24.6mpg... c/control set at 60 both ways...

they sound just a little less of a beast,as for performance i think it down by 5-10% so not to bad..

4.6 every time...for the sound alone..

I get 13-14 around the town but its up to 23-24 on a run at say 60-70mph. from 4.6 none LPG..

NO WE ARNT...it been gettin warmer since the ice age..no one says anything about that(no 4x4s then) The less ice the hotter it gets ,the hotter it gets the less ice and so in..We dont take up much more room than other cars and we pay lots more tax when we fill up.
