Cool cheers mate for the info. Yeah I'm not sure, always thought powder coating would be stronger as the paint bonds better. May end up just getting them shot blasted and then paint myself. Or just leave as is lol

Also forgot to mention a few things looking over it, mainly the wheels. What is the standard width of the Series steel wheels? is it 16x6? The tyres that are fitted to it are currently 225/75R16. Obviously that's wrong and have noticed it sits low because of those for a while. Standard size...

To be fair, the bottom door seals look OK. May just get away with redoing the top ones for now and then treating the bottoms

Good point, may do that this weekend! Does anyone have any information or part numbers for the door seals? Can't seem to find anything useful. Just want to stop the water getting inside as you may see the original door seals have turned to stone!! Need: Drivers complete door seal Passengers...

I do agree it looks awesome! I will 100% be cleaning the inside though, don't mind about the outside. Want to get some new seats and paint the inside of the roof as it's flaking everywhere lol. Just make it a bit nicer to drive inside! Guess that's that haha

Not much has happened in recent months on this due to unforeseeable busy summer wither other stuff on the go. I am itching to get this back on the road and with my Dad busy with other stuff I'm pestering him every now and them for him to sell it to me so I can get it back on the road haha...

Managed to get everything that I wanted to get done, done! Only took all week, but didn't have whole days, just a few hours each morning. Not bad, feel good it's finally done. Sanded down the rusty patched in the footwells with a grinder, was only surface rust. Just didn't want it to flake...

You party pooper..! I've used it before on my MR2, it never appeared to wash off but I'll see how this goes. I've got the top coat to do next anyway which I tend to do a little thicker on. I also use a dabbing (not the **** stupid arm thing all the cool kids do) technique rather than brushing...

Haha, need a good rest now though. Working lates and doing all this work in the mornings is knackering. I think I'm just unfit lol
