    Tyre pressure

Both of the above are good options ;) If they've sold you a wheel / tyre package then they should know about pressures etc. I can't believe that anyone would sell an unsuitable set for a vehicle just to make a few quid - Seriously, there's loads of them out there selling totally US...

    Tyre pressure

There's a basic rule involving half the axle weight and the max tyre pressure I used as a starting point on the VW It's explained on here. Thanks to Aidan Talbot the gearbox guru for that one Dont forget to use LR weights rather than T3 ones though :)

    Urgent tyre query

There's nowt wrong with roadventures to be honest. Got me everywhere I needed to go in the snow last year. For the money I reckon they're spot on - so much so we stuck a set on the FL when we bought it.

    Propshaft CV joint

As far as I know, it's a "non service item" ie; they don't sell them. You could try someone like these guys who refurbed the prop on my Syncro Welcome to Propshaft Technology Ltd - Propshafts Rotherham, propshaft manufacturers Rotherham, propshaft components, propshafts for machinery, motor...

Rear Fog light follow on thread!

Stick it on the drop plate for the tow hitch or in the middle of the wheel carrier. It'll probably get knocked off pretty soon but it should get you through a test

    Anyone recognise these part numbers?

If you loose the LDR at the beginning you'll have a better chance with google - or try LDR then a space :)

    HELP: Tailgate window stuck down

You have tried the key method I haven't you... Is it fully down and what did you do to make it go fully down? Or is it just stopping short at the top?

    Anyone recognise these part numbers?

Google suggests a rear diff mount and a cam shaft sensor

    AT Tyre opinion

If you want "everyday" ATs then you cant beat Marshall / Khumo KL78s Not particularly noisey and good life span. n We've yet to get stuck in either truck - run them on the Syncro for a good 20000KM

    best off road 15" tyres

    help with wheels

Personally, I run Marshall ATs on both trucks and have never got stuck. If you want "aggressive" then go for BFGs but our Marshalls have yet to leave us stuck. Horses for courses really - depends on how much S**t you drive through on a regular basis

    help with wheels

As said above - Be Careful. The load rating etc must all be correct other wise you will end up in the s**t and it's the 1st thing your insurance company will look at. If you're determined you could go to Mefro and get wheels to the exact spec you need but they won't be cheap. Loads of info on...

Central (un) locking not working properly.

As far as I know, the softback/hardback 3 doors were supplied with a rigid parcel shelf because the retractable ones would have flapped around and been insecure when driving with the roof removed. If you can get pictures of the 5 door fittings you will be able to compare them to what you have...

Do you regret buying a Freelander?

Do we regret buying it? Not Yet.... Had it a month and it does what we hoped it would- it's a cheap car for the A1 and capable of going into and getting out of fields... If we'd wanted a mud plugger we'd have bought another 90 or Disco but as a glorified car the FL Td4 seems to fit the bill...

    Snow chains

Handy to have - just in case, but more & more folk are using those fabric "sock" things now. My neighbour tried to buy a pair of chains for his BMW estate ;last year once the snow had arrived and was quoted a massive price and a 2 month delivery!
