Permission to be (very) confused...................?

Hi all, just picked up a set of these from e-bay (£27.00 inc. postage for the genuine Mantec article!!) Anyone have experience of fitting them or even better have access to the original fitting instructions? I'm presuming it's just a case of lining them up on the existing sills, drilling...

I'm actually using 35mm spacers, came from Germany made out of high grade aluminium billet. Cost a fortune but good quality, certainly help the old girl stick around corners.....! Steve

Had the Grabber AT2's on my car for about 6 months now.Have to say I'm very impressed, not a huge amount of road noise on tarmac driving and good grip on snow, wet grass and muddy terrain. Had mine fitted at home by Event Tyres - Event Tyres - Mobile Tyre Fitting for Car, 4x4 and Run Flat...

Hi all, I have just noticed a leak under the hippo which appears to be diesel. It looks as if it's dropping onto the modified chequerplate undertray but from where I can't tell. No obvious signs of any leak site from above and I'm stumped as to where it's coming from. Any of you boffins got...

I have a 2006 TD4 for which I've picked up a set of standard height Eibach upgrade front and rear springs. The rears went on to the vehicle fine but the front set will not fit due to the top of the spring being too wide for the retaining collar. The supplier maintains that the spring set does...

Did the EGR mod to my 2006 TD4 today. Blanked off the vacuum hose and made sure all the fitting/gaskets were clean and tight. No dash lights or odd noises, seems I was lucky. Certainly the hippo accelerates more cleanly from a standing start now, with tuning chip and MAF compensator fitted too...

With an Internet explorer window open just click on the help tab and then on the 'about internet explorer' option. Should give you the IE version (I'm using version 7 atm).

Dunno what all the fuss is about...... MAF replacement is a two minute job with the right kit ! :cool:

They're 5 point security star bits. Not the torx 6 point type, these will round off the heads, got mine from Halfords for about a fiver...... Steve :)

Might a pair of spacers on the rear wheels (or all round if you like) solve the problem? Probably need to be the hub-centric type. Just a thought..... Steve

Basically the silver coloured plastic trim has to be prised off using a flat blade screwdriver or similar. Best to start from the bottom of the trim strip to aviod unsightly scratches if you're ham-fisted (like me!). Underneath you'll find the screws that attach the handle to the door, Steve
