Mrs Smiley not happy with the old rear door card (TBH it was scrappy) so stripped the vinyl off and found the hardboard totally knacked and broken. Bought new hard board used old card as template and covered with more left over carpet from doing the inside. She would of preferred to re-do it...

    D1 Windscreen Leaks...

Doh! ya right, I stand corrected :)

Front diff oil came out black!

Condensation and use will usually turn oils to grey / black eventually but if its lumpy and treackly its normally just not been changed for a long time. Guess grease contamination will thicken it too, my swivels were awful when I drained them last year, thick goo but drained them recently when...

    Electrical advice please

Nope, just need relays for anything over and above the rated current of the switch. LED lights are low power, meters take nearly zero power, CIG lighters normally 8-10 amp so use switched breaker or relay (unless you are direct wiring them and not using a switch, just make sure they are fused...

    Leaks, but remainder getting there

    D1 Windscreen Leaks...

I would say seal it, recently replace the windscreen rubber on my 110 and loads of other seals and its was water tight for a couple of months, but now can at least see where tiny trickles can get in. Dont think the windscreen seal is quite tight enough in some areas, so going to seal the whole...

    Electrical advice please

Also position of the relay (if needed). Its better to run long wires that carry less current, so the relay is better mounted nearer the load or the battery with the longest cable run being form the switch. Just a rule of thumb, as heavy cable is more expensive than lighter cable!

    Electrical advice please

All depends on what items you are trying to power up. Basically many commercial auto switches are only good for a few amps, so if you wanted to power something that takes 5 amps plus, then yes use a relay. The switch is used just to power / switch on the relay that then connects the main load.

Noticed that the new tyres are a tad wider than the old ones but not as tall, guess I gain a bit of suspension clearance and movement but lose a bit of ground clearance. Reckon the road ride will be loads better though :). Tomorrow I will do the other side and if time drop the props as know I...
