Just thought I'd tell you what we found.after phoneing some of diesel centers all 3 of them said if there was fluid in the tube between the turbo and the injector pump then the diaphram was split and that would draw fuel up it and feed the turbo,and that was checked,you can change the diaphram...

ok latest update,took it to local garage and they discovered the the seller have accidently connected up the lift pump inlet and return pipes around the wrong way,this has stopped the fuel tank being pressurized and although the engine in running much better it has still run the rev's up...
