    I've waited this long so I suppose I'm in no rush, but when you get into tdv8's the price goes up, very quickly. Got a lovely 2012 hard top 90 parked outside tonight, grand total of 750 miles in the clock :), getting the last of the warranty repairs done on my own, let the bills begin.

    Knew about that one, 03 one I know was running the battery down overnight, started looking into it, electronic box in back tied up in a landrover bag, seems that was a dealer repair! I do have a jetta which is worth somewhere in the 6-7k mark, add that to the budget and might be able to stretch...

    It is definately a wicked engine, goes like stink, and 23mpg when you rag the life out of it, 25 if your half sensible. No worse than a defender. Haven't driven a TD6, had a spin in a 03 V8.

    Already want one, defender threw a gearbox last christmas and LR assist gave me a 61 plate vogue tdv8 for 2 whole weeks while they fixed it, had 50 miles on it when I got it. Never as sad to see a defender come back in all my life.

    Hello all, thought I would join and say hello. My name is Richard, currently driving a soft top 90 2.2 just about to go out of warranty :(. Been toying with the idea of buying a 2003 vogue, but don't want to end up with a stinker, so any advice or tips very welcome.
