Not done it in a landy, but when I converted a vw panel van into a camper, I used acoustic glass wool and ply. Great because its thermal properties match acoustic, and its fire retardant too.

Thanks, ive seen a seat scratch built in a vw mag for a bus, but it looked a bit beyond my skills set, I thought adapting one from another vehicle might prove just as tricky!

hey, i saw a defender with what looks like a series grill on it, but i'm guessing it must be custom made as it looks a lot bigger than an original. does any one know if this is an available product anywhere? thanks tony.
