    Smaller Wheels on FreeLander Sport...

Hi All. I have a 2004 FreeLander Sport Premium which naturally came with the 18" alloys... 235/50/18. The net result is its impossible to get any form of aggressive off-road tyre so I could take part in an off-road day. Would say 16" wheels if I bought some second-hand off eBay from another...

    front disks and pads

I'll be fitting EBC disks and pads to our FL when they go. The braking system on this car is shocking. Who the hell thought drums at the back would be a good idea?

    Freelander Sport Tyres..

Hi. We have a '04 FreeLander Sport TD4 Auto and im looking around for some tyres that will do better on muddy ground. The problem is with a 235/50/18 profile there isn't many about. I've found something called the Conti 4x4 Winter Contact which seems to have a better tread than the standard...

    Wierd Buzzy Grinding noise!

Gets worse in reverse too though (strait line) which is odd! :/ If you put it in reverse (even standing still) its horrific where as in 'D' is pretty quiet until you move.

    Wierd Buzzy Grinding noise!

Hi All. Got a problem that suddenly appeared while going down a country lane on my way home. Most awfully buzzy grinding noise from what sounds like front right side of the engine bay, near the drivers side front wheel. Particuarly bad under slow menouvour / hard steering lock but...

HDC and TC come on & go away after restart!?

Any way of diagnosing the cause of the problem? Any good LandRover diagnostic tools out there? I presume a local independant dealer wouldn't have anything special computer wise...? Having been a VW enthusiast for a long time i've all the relevant diagnostic equipment on my laptop - and only...

HDC and TC come on & go away after restart!?

Cheers. Strange thing is, some days it won't do it at all. Some days it'll do it on every engine start. To make the fault go away you don't even have to fully start the engine. Just crank the starter once, then turn off the ignition and re-start and the fault lights go away. I have a...

HDC and TC come on & go away after restart!?

Hi All. Recently purchased a FreeLander TD4 Sport Premium '04 reg with Auto box, which is developed a strange fault. TC and HDC warning lights come on, about once in every 4-6 starts. If you turn off and immediatly restart the engine, they'll go away and come back in a few starts time. Any...
