When you turn on do you get any beeps along with the note book symbol?

Sounds like the 'puter has gone into 'get you home mode' you will need it hooked up to testbook or rovacom to get faults cleared is my guess!!

I've just checked mine and the wing mirror adjuster switch doesn't light up on mine either!

No you can't, don't think that has been available for quite a while now.

Isn't there a way of inputting a code using the key in the drivers door or something so many turns to left so many to right etc etc I think you request it from the dealer / landrover or something....but I might have dreamt it!!

It means your one shot up/down isn't working. Lower the window with finger on the button when it gets to the bottom hold it for 2 seconds then raise the window and at the top hold it for 2 seconds! This should reset it!

So by slowing down the onset of corrosion it resists corrosion doesn't it! If you add an additional barrier the zinc doesn't oxidise until that barrier i.e. powder coat has been breached! Also if you scratch galvanise it oxidises and 'prevents the steel from rusting' so is self healing! Saying...

So if you hot dip galvanise a chassis then use a paint or powder coat finish on top of it you do actually increase the corrosion resistance!!....Don't you

So why are most vehicle body panels zinc coated primed and painted then these days????

I haven't used that website but have used Cheap car parts, Engines & 4x4 Parts. Find used car parts & car spares from online car breakers which sounds like it is a similar thing, very good service through it and found the bits I wanted very fast and pretty cheaply too!!

Got into my car after just popping into the shop turned the key and click!!......Nothing:eek: . Was in a hurry so called out the AA, battery was fine turned out to be a dodgy connection on the starter motor, once the nice man cleaned it up started first time and all windows and the sunroof set...

Good point .........make sure the right hand latching pin isn't screwed too far in! If it is it won't latch therefore no signal from microswitch....note that the left hand latch does not have a microswitch!!

The right hand bonnet latch has a microswitch in it, I would check if that is working as a first off!

Not quite sure what your trying to say. Do you mean that with the car in neutral and the handbrake on the car rocks back and forth a bit? If so this is normal!
