    Already done injector washers and seals when i did head gasket...Renewed the fuel pressure regulator to. Gonna do air bleed valve and non return valve next week..:D

    Arms the alarm too...So if you just unlock it with the key as soon as you open the door alarm goes off...     Vehicle electrics are not my strong point so it looks like its gonna get expensive... Can lock and unlock it with key but this does not turn off immobiliser so alarm goes off all the time.. :confused::confused:

    Hi all, Got an annoying problem with immobiliser/central locking on my TD5. Unlocks/locks when it feels like it on the key fob... Changed batteries in both key fobs and still it seems it will lock or unlock when it feels like it. Never had this problem before today...

    Adjusted the valve clearences and my motor is spot on...Turned out i'd got the clearences wrong by at least 3 quarters of a turn on three valves.:):):):):)

    Just a thought,,, I have,nt tightened down the injector clamp bolts since doing the H/G....Plus the valve clearences are slightly out...You can hear one or two of then knocking slightly and its like the timing is fractionaly out...Would/Could this be my starting problems...

    After the first initial start in the morning its fine...Starts on the button with no throttle...As it should.

    Its been a bit of a problem to start in the mornings since i bought it last year. Its just i have to pump the pedal 3 times in the morning then hold it at half throttle till it fires up...Not too much of a problem really, just an annoying one.:confused:
