    Happy Birday To Yella

Not a foul word again, must be 'cos your nearly "grown up". The "F" word takes on a whole new meaning for you soon: Forty, Forty-one, Forty-two....... but I'm sure you'll get over it.

    td4 oil filter

There are not many people with a 36mm socket in their toolbox, the one I mention is specially made low profile, for use only on the oil filter hex. If it has a 3/8" drive like mine then thats what you use, if it's 1/2" you use that. No one said there was anything special about it.

    td4 oil filter

Hi Bryan, there is a special tool for taking the top off the oil filter housing, it's 36mm and has a 3/8 square drive, pop into Halfords etc. only a couple of quid. the filter housing is on the front of the engine, the top is black with big hexagonal, undo it and the filter element is inside.

    scary cornering

If this is seriously not a speed problem, one other thing which you may have overlooked is,has the vehicle been in an accident or seriously ill-treated off road? You don't say what speed this is happening at,or what kind of a corner you were taking.

    Engine Noise @ 4000/rpm

I posted my comments to you on this thread as it doesn't matter where you look on this site your ludicrous infantile burbling is everywhere. I see your use of the English language is still degenerating, but you seem to get a high when some of users offer support. I have a good friend who works...

    Engine Noise @ 4000/rpm

This is exactly what I've been trying to get through to some of the numbskulls on this forum. There is somewhat of a difference between a 1.8 litre and 2.5 V6 yours as you state is not bad as it's dragging a housebrick through the air, but think what the poor guy with the 1.8 is doing to his...

Yella disco man, do you think foul language is a good thing for kids to be coming out with? IF NOT.....DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!

    Engine Noise @ 4000/rpm

Firstly I don't bleat, just state facts. Have you in all your so called wisdom ever stopped to think why the drive train was in that condition in the first place? Driving as you suggest springs to mind. Having now reached the age of 60 and been driving land rovers of all types, including years...

    Engine Noise @ 4000/rpm

Try not reving up to 4000rpm in each gear as in one of your previous posts. The Freelander may have been developed with refinement in mind, but it still isn't a "car" and should be driven with this in mind. As I said before if you want something to rev the guts out of buy a sports car.

The obvious thing with the door seal gone, is the whole boot will be wet and not just the inside of the cubby.

Is there some way of getting YELLA DISCO to submit constructive feedback, or banning him from all forums? I have yet to find a sensible remark or reply from this CLOWN there is only so much chat that can be put down as funny, it then gets boring. Please GO AWAY and play on the runway and talk...

    Thieves and sat nav.

Lots of you will maybe have sat nav (such as tom tom etc) theft of these devices is now the number one in the toerags top ten! Here's a tip, always take the device out when leaving the vehicle, and also take the holder off the screen or dash, they will still break in hoping you have left it in...

    Remedy for wet cubby.

The holes don't have to be huge, I used 8mm but lots of 5mm would still do the job, no-one would be able to see in there anyway. I lived in Pembroke for 40+ years before coming back to where I was born (still in Wales) and haven't found anywhere else to compare in the world.
