    Front Driving Light Switch

For God's sake lighten up. Have you read any of the other posts on this forum? It's light hearted fun without offence and good honest info from people who know LR's. If you don't like it do what it says at the end of Yella Disco's posts.

    What's happening to my Freelander?

Hi Highlandrover, yes I think the garage saw you coming, but put it down to experience, you won't be caught again. Now don't fret, there are plenty of places to get bits from which won't cost anything like what you've been quoted. Mondo is right I have used Paddocks for most of my bits, service...

    Seat Belt Extender

Don't mess with seat belts. If you have a problem it must be the baby seat is wrong, there should be plenty of slack if fitting is correct. Halfords,Mothercare etc will freely give advice, you shouldn't have to do anything to the belts.

    Freelander air con

You've all lost me now, how does having the A/C on in the cold wet weather stop the windows misting up??? I have always turned the control to windows, set the temp to warm or hot and the fan on setting 2 or 3 and in a matter of mins the windows are clear, even quicker when the re-circ button is...

Is your air con sh*te ????

Hi Dark Rocco, I had a problem with my A/C at start of summer, got it repressured and couple of days and not working, found a pin hole leak in 10mm pipe below rad behind front bumper, couldn't see it till under tray was off, I fixed it with a compression fitting, been ok since.

Where is the armrest on a Freelander? Do you mean the lid on the box between the front seats?

    please help!!!freelander non start

Hi Hotshots, another thing you could try before ripping bits off is the fuel cut off switch, it's in the engine compartment behind the fuse box R/H side looking from front, if it's tripped you can reset it by pressing the top. Also if you've only just bought it get the garage to look at it.

Thinking of buying a V6, anybody got opinion?

If you read through any of the threads you will soon notice ALL Land Rovers are infamously liable to hassles, the V6 is ok if you have your own petrol station, but I think most people would advise a td4.

52 TD4 Auto 48k mls Various noises and black smoke

Hi Coling, if the part you are talking about is really made of "cardboard" then I would take the vehicle back and do what Mondo said in his post. Your pulling to the left problem is serious on any vehicle and to be informed one wheel is further back than the other should have got you back there...
