Could they have made that any fiddlier to refit? Sorted now, yes the screw on filter, another 5mm of space top to bottom and it would be a doddle.

Changing the oil on the Defender, how on earth does the cartridge filter go back in ?? it was tight to come out but it wiggled and giggled and popped out.

They look like the Landrover locking nuts to me, they have a letter stamped on them, if it has you can just buy the correct adaptor. like this one on ebay

They look more like the later side steps to me.

If you clean the end up with a bit of wire wool or emery cloth is there a letter stamped on it?
