If its only knocking on slow speed at full lock, then it should only need regreasing, however you have to replace the gaiter as well, you should get grease and circlip with gaiter when you buy.... if its knocking when accelerating then its the inner cv joints worn, which means replacing...

Hi peeps, i'm on the lookout for new alloy rims for me motor. i've looked on ebay but was wondering what other motors share the same wheel fitment as the "98" freelander, that may be cheaper than typing (freelander alloys) as that brings rather expensive results,..... or maybe someone has a nice...

obviously the freelander 1.8 is pretty noisy to run, thus messing the tunes, whats the best sound proofing to get to deaden the engine noise to allow better clarification of tunes i like to play n where to put it? guys n gals let me know your best info to this question...
