not got one with one wire both got 2 wires so took the blue/black one of is that right 99 40ltr.

had this flat bat prob so i found rf removed wot i thought was right bit but remote still works from across the road and bat still going flat ,looking at rf i removed the lead to the left which seemed to be a push twist fit is this right one:confused:

think ive sorted it while looking at other things i noticed that the plate at bottom of plenum chamber was leaking when up to temp so tightened the three 5.5mm bolts and it seems to be ok now fingers crossed:clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2:

thanx gav its not blown its top yet but went i went out yesterday it went over to red for 10 secs then started to come back to normal

ok been out this morning temp gauge right over then back to normal me thinks its the temp gauge so what to check,earths ok:confused:

fitted new thermo but same prob is there another stat on these cars as my local motor factor sells one thats just a stat and rubber seal:confused:

just been out and car over heated :mad: looks like themostat,s not working as top hose was solid ho well ive got nothing else to do in the rain;)

ok p38 40ltr 1999 auto temp gauge suddenly goes to hot [red light] then 10 secs later down to middle[where it always goes]when red light on heater blows warm when middle heater hot this is driving on a straight road ,and is intermittant ideas please;) oh the temp gauge has always gone to middle...

just use standerd plugs but set gap smaller as advised;)

went out in rangy this morning parked for 15 mins came back, 100yds to slip road a50 temp gauge goes over to red ,red light cames on pulls over[quick],temp gauge goes to normal ok get home ,go out 15mins later get 10yds fuel gauge goes over to full keep driving ,fuel gauge goes down to nearly...

this is a good one 3months ago went to p38 battery flat,charged it ok come to it this morning battery flat,nothing left on charged ok this also happened about six months ago,charge from alt ok,any ideas:doh::rolleyes:

:mad: anybody in stoke-on-trent who can get rid of srs light cheap repaired fault but they want £40 to plug it in to comp and remove fault and me being a tight git .....:D

mines had srs light for 12 month and passed mot with it.:)

depends on how fast you want to drive,there,s no point buying high speed rating if your only going to be doing 30 -50 high speed tyres are for doing a lot of motorway driving your local tyre sales will advise you [does,nt meen you have to buy of them.....]
