Ok found thread but local lr machanic said it won't make a diff but checked it anyhow and its right also cleaned injector wires and took red block of ecu and cleaned no diff:confused:

Ok prob 1 replaced clutch switch (comon fault on disco td5 manual)but engine still high revving when changing gear :confused:power to wires so any ideas please as I've just brought the bugger and the wifes got that look in her eye.

Well I finally made it back td5 (no don't laugh)so I may be a stalker on here as I've got lots of questions to ask like do sidesteps of mk 1 fit mk2 how do u test wiring to clutch switch manual and so on.

how much oil for g/box & transfer box plz diesel pre td4:welcome2:

ok speedo working and srs light out just changed speed sensor:D:D:D

engine in and running but speedo not workingand srs light come on:mad:so where,s the speedo sensor and how much oil for gearbox and trans box thanks;)

:D well engines out,u haveto drop the crossmember off and get it out the way, which after two hours of trying to get it out the top seemed the only thing to do:doh:now just got to lift car over engine ,clean up all the oil from my mates garage floor and fit the new engine ,and all this on me...

help needed ,,a few questions to ask 1 will the engine come out without gearbox 2 is there anything i should watch out for 3 should i just burn it:rolleyes: 4 is there any charities that fit engines for free:D 5 if battery is taken of for few days do i have to reset anything thanks in...

so as anyone removed one of these engines? wot fun am i in for ,will it come out without the gearbox ?any advise welcome thanks:D without burnin it lol.
