The K series is fitted to the MG TF too. That car also blows head gaskets and breaks down a lot. Lotus now use the Toyota engine in their cars I believe.

I don't think I've ever seen bumpers so black and glossy :eek: Do the bumpers stop cricket balls and stone chips any better?

I agree with the above. Bleed the system first. If this doesn't work replace the master and slave cyclinder. Simple job, any Freelander owner can do it ;-)

My old V6 automatic used to feel sluggish when reversing on full lock. It's normal, don't worry. Can't comment on the VCU problems, mine never suffered those problems.
